Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church

When I enter the church I always feel the presence of God here. I see Him in the smiling faces, I hear His voice in both the music and the sermon, I feel His love during Holy Communion. I know I am surrounded by both God and my church family. One can tell that Pastor Ken is a man who spends time in Gods presence daily, as evidenced by both his love and joy. There is a true revival going on here, with souls being added daily. My roots go down deep in this church. My grandparents, Crate and Icie Hall helped to build this church and they brought me here to Sunday school as a child. They are buried in the nearby cemetary. I left for awhile but I am so glad that God brought me back to this place. I truly find God's peace here and know that I know He is here. If we seek God with our whole heart we will find Him...... The pastor at Tuckaleechee is amazing! If you're looking for a down-to-earth congregation & a pastor who welcomes every individual who walks through the door, Tuckaleechee UMC is the place for you! The preacher here is so down to earth, an amazing personality - willing to laugh with you or cry - he is truly a blessing from God! Visit Tuckaleechee if you're looking for a great sermon with true life experiences built in! I'd recommend TUMC to anyone visiting the Townsend area!!!

It is w/ great sadness- i witness the commercialism- and exploitation of a church- that was my first church-and where 90% of my heritage is buried....my grandfather mixed the mortar that holds that church together...A.Huskey..(son of Ray Lee Huskey)-.grandson of Crate and Icie Hall.-(buried there)...put this in the (for what it's worth catagorie)-i always wanted for Tuckaleechee to be my final resting place( i own two plots-by inheritance)-but the info projected on the internet- really makes me question the priorities and direction that drives this congregation- the commercialism is appalling.....maybe a good look- at what you look like to someone that's been away for a while would help- but on the internet- it's too commercial- and saddens me greatly
