The park is a little run down, the cars are run down, some work, some dont. The employees are generally quite rude, with two actually yelling at someones kids. One kid thought they said to get out of the car, he actually said stay in the car. When the kid got out, the employee yelled "WHAT PART OF STAY IN THE CAR DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!". If that had been my kid, security would have been escorting me out of the speedpark.
It is reasonably priced however and as long as you avoid the clunker cars, you should be okay
the rides were fun and the family had a blast, but there were a couple of things that i didn't like. there wasn't enough employees to run individual rides, so when one employee was running one ride the the others weren't running for example the space ship 3000 was running and i asked the guy is the other ride not working and he said no and then i look over and there he is running that ride he said was not working. the same guy that was running the space ship 3000. there was not too many people there that day so my daughter and my mother in law rode the little roller coaster the park had and when it was over and they wanted to ride again they had to walk all the way around the gates just to get back on and it was just them two. ridiculous. the teenagers you have employed there are too arrogant. they had too much attitude. was not happy
We, along with our children were so excited to spend the day at Nascar speed park. Well, after being there and only riding 1 ride...we were sorry we spent the money. We have small children, so we wanted to ride the tracks with the double cars together. well...we waited about 40 minutes in line and when we got to the front of the line, 1 of the 2 double cars broke...needless to say they had no more cars to put on the track, and we had to go to another lane and wait another 30 minutes to ride. after waiting. 1/2 way through the car i was driving died...ran out of gas. there were 2 other people who ran out of gas and had to be PUSHED IN to the station by the people working there...meanwhile the people in the cars who were running had to stop and wait...WHAT? so after getting upset about the amount of nonworking cars, we went over to the carnival rides...well...there were several that didnt work. the water boats didnt shoot water. the carosel was completely broken. there was 1 person running 3 different rides. so you had to wait until the line was gone at one ride before he could start the next ride..it was absolutely crazy. we were so dissapointed. the kids even said they didnt want to go back. big waste of ALOT of money!!! dont go! get the coupons out of the magazines from the welcome center and do the buy one get one free at the other places down the road!!! you will have a lot more fun. cars go much faster....people are much nicer and can speak english!
Worst family outing ever. When we arrived the ladies at the ticket booth were ery rude and een making ugly comments about the management. I should have left at this point but my kids were so excited about this trip we did not want to let them down. Total dissapointment!!! Many rides were closed. The ones that were open were not well staffed. We had to wait in long lines because 1 staff member was running up tp 5 rides at a time. The staff members on the tracks were very lazy. I watched many pile ups while the staff member stood oer to the side unaware of what was going on. I saw dads getting out of their cars to help their children who were stuck. This was a ery dangerous situation. On one of the hottest days of the summer, the icee machine was broken and there were not many staffmembers working at the concession stands. The restrooms and inside play area were very dirty. The air-conditioned room where I had planned on taking my baby for a break during the day was locked for most of the day due to a lack of staff members.
I finally had enough and did not fell like this park was a safe environment for my children so we left. I would not reccommend this park to anyone. I e-mailed the management 2 times but have not had a response and when you call no one ever picks up the phone.
Actually I am from thousands of miles away from US.(TURKEY) .MOD of this Park said me once we like foreign workers because they work better than us ..And foreign workers dont treat the customers like American employees. I think its all Americans problem:)) If you go there find an employee and ask him-her could you give me a Dollywood(any park at Pigeon Forge) ticket? Because each employee can enter any park at pigeon forge two free tickets? and they can enter every time free ..I went to dollywood 5 times givin Zero Dollar.Once I give my free tickets to a lady and her child. Go to Pigeon Forge-Nascar Sp.Park-Wonderworks all the Parks. And you like that county. And stay at Country Hearth Inn.I stayed there its so cheap.Say hello to Dale at Country Hearth
First time we visited the NASCAR Speedpark. My group bought the all day wristband for $34.99 online and they gave us all a FREE Souvenir Sports bottles. There were 8 go-kart tracks (7 for adults and 2 for little kids that we didnt ride). must have rode all 7 tracks 3 times each and stayed until 11PM. there were three amusement rides that we rode and climbed the rockwall (free with the all day pass). we were told the rest of the rides would be open for the season beginning spring break. will be back to ride them too. best family entertainment place in the area... we stayed in pigeon forge and there were several other go-kart places that only had 1 or 2 tracks....very boring.
The only decent track was the road course. The so called big cars cost more and were the worst to ride. They had no speed all you could do was follow the leader I almost fell asleep it was so boring. If you have small kids maybe ok but not for teens or adults.
Have you ever stood and stared at it, marveled at its beauty, its genius? Billions of people just living out their lives, oblivious. Did you know that the first NASCAR Speedway Park was designed to be a perfect human world, where none suffered, where everyone would be happy? It was a disaster. No one would accept the fried food, entire families of rednecks were lost. Some believed we lacked the cocaine-fueled insanity to describe your perfect world, but I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through misery and suffering. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why NASCAR Speedway Park was redesigned to this, the peak of your civilization. I say your civilization, because as soon as we started thinking for you it really became our civilization, which is of course what this is all about. Rednecks. Evolution. Like the dinosaur. Look out that window. You've had your time. The future is our world. The future is our time. The consequences will never be the same.
I am going to be honest with you. I... hate... this place, this zoo, this prison, this reality—whatever you want to call it, I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink, And every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it; it's repulsive, isn't it? I must get out of here. I must get free. Yo homes, to Bel Air!
This place is a joke, as well as the personnel. They are rude and obnoxious and lazy to say the least. When you charge 40.00 for an all day ticket and have 1 person operating 5-6 rides, have to wait in line, most of the rides are broken, so they say, and then the manager talks down to you like you are trash, then someone needs to check on this place. I thought the south was a place of hospitality, well this place needs to move out of the south. This place is a waste of money, time and you do no want your children to see how these "adults" behave. Will never go there again.
