Dear Jeff, I want to thank you for the great experience my new fiancee' Keri and I had with Smoky Mountain Balloon Adventures ! I know that she was thrilled as well as myself. I also know that it would not have been possible to ask her to marry me without all of your help. You definitely acted as professionals, and knew what you were doing with the balloon, but at the same time were very personable and made us feel very comfortable. Thank you Jeff for your cooperation while I was 'down on one knee'. Thank you for your honesty and integrity as well. I checked my credit card statement and found the exact amount I said to charge (including the tip for the crew) on there as well. I know that all of Keri's friends could not believe that we went on a hot air balloon ride, so I might have steered some more business your way. Again, thank you so much and have a Merry Christmas. I will let you know when the date is set !

For my husband's 25th birthday, I surprised him with a trip to Tennessee and a hot air balloon flight. I booked the flight three months in advance and left ample time during our vacation to be able to reschedule the flight in case of bad weather, which is what I was told to do. We were scheduled to fly day one (morning) of our three day vacation. The weather prevented us from going on the flight that morning (Sat.), so he called to let me know that we could not go and that he had already booked Sat. night and Sun. morning. He did tell me, however, that Sun. night was open and he would call me back mid-morning Sat. to let me know if the crew was available. He still hadn't called back by noon on Sat., so I called him and he informed me that the Sun. night slot was now also booked, even though he said the slot was open as long as the crew was available! Watch out when you are booking through them because he will also keep 8% of your deposit too, even if you/he cannot reschedule due to weather and he does not work well with you to reschedule. We ended up having to get part of our deposit back and not getting to go.
