James White's Fort, Knoxville

We arrived during the times of operation listed on the internet. It was shortly after the posted opening time, and the place was locked up. We waited for 10 minutes, but no one showed up. There was no notice posted about the closure. I peaked through the spaces in the fence and saw nothing of interest. The place was so small we couldn't believe they would charge to see inside, even with the narrative. We have not gone back, nor do we plan on wasting our money for such a little place.
