Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is one of the gems of Gatlinburg, and they have some of the best shows in the Smokies to see. I only found out about them last year (2004), but was able to catch both of their shows... they usually have two every season. This year (2005), the Theatre will be in its 29th season. Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre is a small theatre with a very friendly atmosphere. It's family owned and operated, and the minute you walk in the door, you are made to feel right at home. The actors- Don, Chris, Destiny, Tim, and Janice- are incredibly talented and will make you nearly pee yourself with laughter. Another thing I like about this place is that if you enjoyed the show you saw, you can purchase a tape of it to take home and enjoy a good laugh whenever you like. This place is well-worth the money, trust me. Most everyone who sees shows at SFA enjoys them, and they have a lot of return visitors. They don't even have to spend a lot on advertising: word of mouth does it all for them. I will offer two bits of advice, though. The first is, if you want good seats, call ahead and make reservations- the first few rows go quickly. The second is... when they tell you to sing, you'd better sing. You wouldn't like to know what they do to people who don't sing ;)
