Space Needle, Gatlinburg

This has to be one of the most fun and best maintained attractions in the area. My family and I visit Gatlinburg fairly often and the Space Needle is always on our list of places to visit. The ride up to the observation deck and the view are amazing in themselves, but then you come back down into this awsome arcade with lots of games that are fun to play and are well maintained. The people are always extremely friendly and courteous and we all have a blast. The kids especially love the place. All in all I don't believe there is a better value anywhere for you vacation dollar.

My family of 5 and I had an absolute blast at the Space Needle in Gatlinburg. The kids were so giddy and excited during the elevator ride up, they couldn't wait to get to the top! Once we got to the top they loved the 360 view of the town below them. Their favorite part was peeping through the observation binoculors provided by the Space Needle. Once we rode back down, the arcade was a fun, family friendly environment. The prices were affordable, and with 4 kids that was a plus for my husband and I. We had to pry them away from the games, they were having such a great time. I was also very impressed with the quality of the prizes they carried at their Redemption area. One of my sons redeemed his tickets for the game Cranium! I know we will always remember the fun time we had at the Space Needle when we pull it out to play it in the future. I recommend the Space Needle to anyone who is looking for a beautiful view of the mountains and Gatlinburg, and to anyone who wants to have a really fun time. It's great for kids and adults too! Looks like someone is putting a lot of effort into this attraction because things have really changed since our last visit.There is a new front and new flooring on the observation deck to name a few. We had a great time in the arcade and won lots of tickets. It is reasonably priced although there is no entry fee for the huge arcade.We also saw the Hypnosis show that was the funniest thing we had ever seen! We highly recommend a visit to The Space Needle.

This thing has become very run down and it appears they do very little maintenance to it. One of the Elevators was broken so it took a very long time to go up and down. Two of the viewers up on the viewing deck were broken and it appeared they had been in a state of disrepair for quite a while. It's probably best to just skip this attraction.

at the top, the floor was cracked and old looking the floor was very thin metal and rusted....very old looking....scary, i wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend small children going up

this was one of my favorite attractions. I absolutely love the view, its breath taking at night. Its one of the cheaper things to do as well. Its a great experience, even if your afraid of heights. I plan to go back very soon.

a 360 degree view of gatlinburg was very nice at night during the winter.. you can see cabins and fog in the mountains, and the chrismas lights lit up all around. this was our second stop in town and it was good choice, so you can see what the town looks like...

we had a great time in the needle area. service was very freidly & much to do.the view was great . we watched fireworks tghat were excellent

A little scary if you're afraid of heights, but the view is great. Price is good especially when compared to other attractions in Gatlinburg (almost half!). Looks like some renovations have been going on, but didn't affect our ride.

I went to Gatlinburg TN with my boyfriend last weekend. The Space Needle was a great tourist attraction! I wouldn't go on it if you don't like heights; it doesn't seem to be high but trust me it is. I like it best for the view besides itS just cool neways. They have plenty of game on the first floor for you to. I would recommend anybody who is touring to check it out. Someone said its overprice but its really not. It was 7.50$ for one person and keep in mind people this is a big tourist city. But if you are going to Gatlinburg, TN check it out. I loved it but my boyfriend did not only due to the height(he is a baby when it come to height).
