Wonderful.
I went over the weekend with my 13 year old brother, dad, and stepmom. I am 16, a girl, and have always loved scary movies and haunted houses. I didn't expect it to be this scary though. I thought it would be cheesy, but it wasn't. The man that plays the prisoner was extremely good. I won't tell you what he did, but it was very scary. I, being curious as to what would happen, patted him on the head. I thought he would break character. But no, not once. Not a look or anything. He was awesome. All the actors were awesome.
My dad never really gets scared, and wasn't scared. He laughed the whole time, and led our group through it. He really enjoyed it though, and couldn't get over some parts. Me and my stepmom screamed bloody murder! By the end, I had my arms around her neck as if my life depended on it. My brother was just as scared. He doesn't really scream, but I could feel his hand on my shoulder, shaking.
It is worth the time and money, and is not a attraction to miss when visiting Gatlinburg. I recommend for anyone who likes a good scare. I don't recommend it for kids under 10, or people who get easily scared, and are faint of heart. Also, if you have anxiety attacks, I would avoid it. A lot of things pop out at once, and some almost touch you. There is a bridge you have to walk across, with the walls spinning around it. It throws off your equilibrium, and makes you extremely dizzy, so I don't recommend it for those who get dizzy easily, because you can't walk around it, you have to go through it.
All in all, it was fun, and I am looking forward to going back next year!
