Not for children
By Sarah, 5/19/10
Me and my husband took our 7 year old son and didn't even make it in the door good and had to call for some one to walk us out. And the truth is we were gald our son was ready to leave cause so were we. I wouldn't take children under 10 or people that scare easy.

Omg...
By Ben, 4/15/10
I put excellent because it was super scary. Not you usual neighborhood haunted house. This is some of the top technology of the U.S. The lighting is absolutely terrible, and if you buy one of the little lights, don't expect it for light. At the end, it is so scary a guy dressed like a paramedic comes out and follows the group through the absolute scariest part. You get trapped in rooms, where the doors are timed. And if you let go of the shoulders of the person in front of you, you could probably get lost. When I was walking through, I stepped in something big and sticky and gross too. And if you go, when you get to the elevator at the end, like it's all over, not really. Be ready for a big surprise. Go ahead if you want to be emotionally scarred. (just kidding about the scarred thing).

Not for claustrophobes!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/21/09
This is a very very scary haunted house. The part that is the most frightening is being left alone in PITCH BLACK and not being able to find your way out. You have to feel along walls and sometimes you run into things that don't feel so great!! Not for children under 10 or even older!! This is a haunted house that plays more on psychological fears than fears of monsters. If you are afraid of the dark and/or claustrophobic - DO NOT GO!! You may pass out.

Wonderful.
By JessicaE, 6/23/09
I went over the weekend with my 13 year old brother, dad, and stepmom. I am 16, a girl, and have always loved scary movies and haunted houses. I didn't expect it to be this scary though. I thought it would be cheesy, but it wasn't. The man that plays the prisoner was extremely good. I won't tell you what he did, but it was very scary. I, being curious as to what would happen, patted him on the head. I thought he would break character. But no, not once. Not a look or anything. He was awesome. All the actors were awesome. My dad never really gets scared, and wasn't scared. He laughed the whole time, and led our group through it. He really enjoyed it though, and couldn't get over some parts. Me and my stepmom screamed bloody murder! By the end, I had my arms around her neck as if my life depended on it. My brother was just as scared. He doesn't really scream, but I could feel his hand on my shoulder, shaking. It is worth the time and money, and is not a attraction to miss when visiting Gatlinburg. I recommend for anyone who likes a good scare. I don't recommend it for kids under 10, or people who get easily scared, and are faint of heart. Also, if you have anxiety attacks, I would avoid it. A lot of things pop out at once, and some almost touch you. There is a bridge you have to walk across, with the walls spinning around it. It throws off your equilibrium, and makes you extremely dizzy, so I don't recommend it for those who get dizzy easily, because you can't walk around it, you have to go through it. All in all, it was fun, and I am looking forward to going back next year!
