we where all excited about our Ripleys trip, along with a group of 19, we entered the building, was told to walk in a line with one hand on each others sholders. we where all ages 30 to 35, my husband took his hand off his friend for a split second as we walked through the haunted house and after a man jumped out to yelled "boo, he also yelled rudely, and said he was going to kick us out".. I have never been so disappointed by the attude of some of those employees had.. I will say it was fun, but the yelling was uncalled for,, my husband just removed his hand for a split second, and it made us all very upset and disappointed, to come all that way just to be yelled at.. this was in Gatlinburg, Tennessee..:(

Me and my husband took our 7 year old son and didn't even make it in the door good and had to call for some one to walk us out. And the truth is we were gald our son was ready to leave cause so were we. I wouldn't take children under 10 or people that scare easy.
I put excellent because it was super scary. Not you usual neighborhood haunted house. This is some of the top technology of the U.S. The lighting is absolutely terrible, and if you buy one of the little lights, don't expect it for light. At the end, it is so scary a guy dressed like a paramedic comes out and follows the group through the absolute scariest part. You get trapped in rooms, where the doors are timed. And if you let go of the shoulders of the person in front of you, you could probably get lost. When I was walking through, I stepped in something big and sticky and gross too. And if you go, when you get to the elevator at the end, like it's all over, not really. Be ready for a big
surprise. Go ahead if you want to be emotionally scarred. (just kidding about the scarred thing).
THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!! THERE IS A MAN THAT CHASES YOU WITH A CHAINSAW, A MAN THAT THROWS A HEART AT YOU, YOU ONLY HAVE A ITTY BITTY LIGHT, IT IS SCARY!!!!!! AND ANYONE THAT GOES IN THERE....NICE KNOWIN YA!!!!!! YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a very very scary haunted house. The part that is the most frightening is being left alone in PITCH BLACK and not being able to find your way out. You have to feel along walls and sometimes you run into things that don't feel so great!! Not for children under 10 or even older!! This is a haunted house that plays more on psychological fears than fears of monsters. If you are afraid of the dark and/or claustrophobic - DO NOT GO!! You may pass out.
