Not for claustrophobes!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/21/09
This is a very very scary haunted house. The part that is the most frightening is being left alone in PITCH BLACK and not being able to find your way out. You have to feel along walls and sometimes you run into things that don't feel so great!! Not for children under 10 or even older!! This is a haunted house that plays more on psychological fears than fears of monsters. If you are afraid of the dark and/or claustrophobic - DO NOT GO!! You may pass out.

Wonderful.
By JessicaE, 06/23/09
I went over the weekend with my 13 year old brother, dad, and stepmom. I am 16, a girl, and have always loved scary movies and haunted houses. I didn't expect it to be this scary though. I thought it would be cheesy, but it wasn't. The man that plays the prisoner was extremely good. I won't tell you what he did, but it was very scary. I, being curious as to what would happen, patted him on the head. I thought he would break character. But no, not once. Not a look or anything. He was awesome. All the actors were awesome. My dad never really gets scared, and wasn't scared. He laughed the whole time, and led our group through it. He really enjoyed it though, and couldn't get over some parts. Me and my stepmom screamed bloody murder! By the end, I had my arms around her neck as if my life depended on it. My brother was just as scared. He doesn't really scream, but I could feel his hand on my shoulder, shaking. It is worth the time and money, and is not a attraction to miss when visiting Gatlinburg. I recommend for anyone who likes a good scare. I don't recommend it for kids under 10, or people who get easily scared, and are faint of heart. Also, if you have anxiety attacks, I would avoid it. A lot of things pop out at once, and some almost touch you. There is a bridge you have to walk across, with the walls spinning around it. It throws off your equilibrium, and makes you extremely dizzy, so I don't recommend it for those who get dizzy easily, because you can't walk around it, you have to go through it. All in all, it was fun, and I am looking forward to going back next year!

It SCARED me!!
By Shelia, 06/06/09
I have always like haunted houses, and my family and I decided to give it a try. We got about half way through when my 10 year old son got too scared to go on. One of the workers had walked up behind us, and all I had to do was to give the 'code word'. She immediately led us out so that my son wouldn't be so scared. My 13 year old son left with us, leaving my husband and our 15 year old daughter. It was VERY scary to me...I'm not scared of the dark...just scared of what could be IN the dark!!! It was a good attraction in Gatlinburg!!!!

EEKKKKK !!!!!!!! SCARY SCARY SCARY
By skye, 06/04/09
My best friend and I just got back from Gatlinburg and Haunted Adventure was SSOOO scary! If youve been there before they have changed it up some! You have to go through alot of dark places and feel yourself around. Most of everything is electronic but that doesnt mean it isnt scary! The girl from the ring started chasing us and we were scared to death and there were body bags hanging from the ceiling and heads ha! Very Nerve Racking. I felt trapped and its only $12 which is pretty good for all the excitement in it! We are only 13 but it was definatly scary but i only screamed a few times but i dont get scared easily but it was SCARY haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhh i totally recomend it. .... I know i cant spell lol

Good, Scary Fun!
By Paul, 04/28/09
My wife and I went to the Haunted Adventure while on our Honeymoon earlier this month. It was great fun - fantastic atmosphere and effects. The 'actors' were really good too - great make-up and a very ominous and convincing "British" accent from our tour guide. Great fun if you love ghost trains and good-natured thrills. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone passing through Gatlinburg.

Scariest Hanted House Ever!
By Courtney, 04/20/09
Okay, so I'm a 14 year old girl, but it takes alot to scare me. I love horror flicks and haunted houses. When my family took a trip to Gatlinburg, I knew I couldn't miss out on the haunted house that was ranked #1 in the whole city. I was a little nervous about going inside, after all it was only me and my dad. As soon as I walked in the first room I was terrified! This place was great! I had to hold on to my dad's arm the whole time. I've never been so scared. This place is awesome! It's is definitely a great place for thrill-seekers.

Great Place to Visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/09
This place was great! My 8 year old son and I wanted to visit last summer, but my husband and I decided to wait. We went this year on our trip to Gatlinburg. It was the first place my son begged to go. It definitely is SCARY. I had to keep telling myself that it was not real or I probably would have wet my pants!!! The only problem is that some of the sounds are a little loud on the ears. Otherwise, it is great!!! Don't miss seeing this attraction because it is SO worth it. DON'T take kids under the age of 8.
