Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen, Gatlinburg

I make it a point to stop in every time I go to Gatlinburg. In fact, I was there this morning =) Their fudge is the best, always soft and chewy, never dry and grainy like everyone elses. Their chocolate covered marshmallow on a stick are very good and their chocolate covered jellies are also very good. I would highly recommend them any day. They also have the best prices.

What a great place to stop. The dark chocolate bark with almonds or pecans is our favorite. Also the chocolate coconut candy. YUMMY!!!! You can't stop there without getting a candy apple to enjoy. Never had a bad one. All the people who work in the store are very friendly and helpful.

We tried 3 kinds of the sugar free candy & they were all delicious! I liked the pecan ones that resemble turtles only they are softer & creamer. I intend to return on our next trip.

LOVE THE SMELL WHEN YOU ENTER, LOVE THE CANDY , AND LOVE THE UNCHANGED ATMOSPHIER. CANT WAIT TO RETURN AND GET MORE BRITTLE. BELIEVE ME YOU HAVE TO TRY IT .

I grew up in southwestern Virginia and I have been visiting Smokey Mountain Candy Kitchen since I was an infant...I am now 30 and take my own child here. This place is heaven...the smell when you walk in the door just feels like home. I am so proud to be from this area. When you go to Smokey Mountain Candy Kitchen be prepared to be treated like friends and family!! THE BEST fudge and the vanilla fudge pecan log is ADDICTIVE...BEWARE!!! Is it even necessary to tell you that the taffy is wonderful????? Well, it is!!!

When my family lived in Maryville, we made it a family tradition to go down to Gatlinburg and buy candy from Ole' Smoky Candy Kitchen every year for Christmas! We love that shop. The atmosphere is great, the people are wonderful, and the candy is top quality! My father was also the food inspector for the area and so we knew the owner quite well. Ever since we moved away she makes it a point to send a box full of her best candy every Christmas just for us! Anybody would be crazy to not visit Ole' Smoky Candy Kitchen while in Gatlinburg, if not for the candy, then at least for the atmosphere and experience. You can't get more southern than that!

This store has the best candy apples we have ever eaten. The price is also cheaper than other stores. We've made the 5 hr trip down there before just to get them.

YOU MUST stop by the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen and buy at least 3 pounds of the peanut clusters. IT IS THE BEST CHOCOLATE EXPERIENCE OF YOUR LIFE!!! If you leave without buying some kind of treat for yourself, you have made a big mistake. The milk chocolate is the finest you'll ever taste. Good luck getting home without eating it all. It's impossible.

We visit Gatlinburg at least twice a year. The first place we stop and the last place we stop is the Old Smokey Candy Kitchen. We've been coming here since our honeymoon 29 years ago. Best chocolate in the world!! This is one tradition I hope never changes...
