Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen, Gatlinburg

it the best candy i ever eat i always go in there when i come down here its the first store i go to .

So disappointed. Ordered 1/2 lb. of taffy asking for the following flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry, Banana, and maybe a few Lemon. (Banana is my favorite). Trusted store so never opened box until I was several miles away. Behold, no Banana. Earlier, at the store, when purchasing the box of taffy I would have been charged over $16 but luckily a nearby store clerk over heard my clerk and told her she needed to ring my order over and when she did I only owed a little for $8.00. Considering my not receiving my favorite Banana just imagine how I would have felt if I had been overcharged. I wish there was a way to have the store to mail me my share of the Banana I ordered but I have not been able to find a way to contact the store.

My brother pulled me into this store, and i had to admit, it smelled like heaven. Everything looked so good, but my all time favorite is fudge. I bought some and went on about my shopping. Once I got to the car, I remembered my treat and decided to try a bite.... I purchased 1/2 lb and NONE of that made it back to the hotel. I wonder if i can call and order some over the phone to be mailed to me.... I honestly have NEVER tasted better fudge. It just melts in your mouth. Its not too sweet, but it has a full and fabulous flavor.

This is the first place I ever saw taffy being made, 50-60 years ago. Now we travel to this area at least once a year, and this is the one place I get dropped off at each time to purchase my huge shopping bag full of taffy, which I share with co-workers and family back home. Other than this shop, we avoid Gatlinburg, but it is worth the trip and traffic. The candy is great, the atmosphere brings back memories, and the staff is always friendly.

I took my kids now I take my Grand kids and they can pick whatever they want. We camp in Elkmont every year as a family outing and go here each year. I love the caramel apples and the fudge, my wife loves the chocolate covered cherries. It is all good, this is a place you have to go.

This is the BEST candy ever. My favorite is the Rocky Road. We live 6 hours away and cant visit all the time. Please consider selling it on line.

Every time we visit the smokey mtns we make it a point to stop in and buy candy. Our favorites are choc cherries, almond toffee crunch, pnt butter fudge, and caramel apples with nuts.. I spend almost $50.00 every trip. wish you could buy online but hey it gives us an excuse to travel.. Stephanie C

Don't be fooled by other Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge candy stores. This is the only one you want to shop in and has been my entire life (grew up in Knoxville). We buy tons of it when we first get there and gobble it up. Then we have to buy more for the trip home! If parking is an issue, have a friend drop you off to shop while they circle around. It's worth it.

i have been to gatlinburg 4 times. i go to this store every time. it has the best stick candy and the best buy for your money. you will not met any more nicer folks anywhere.keep up the good work guys and thank you
