Mountain Visions Gallery, Gatlinburg

Mountain Visions Gallery has the most peaceful atmosphere of any shop in the Art Community (Glades Road). I would suggest this a first stop for any first time or returning visitor to the GSM. I am their biggest fan! The shop has an immediate warm, welcoming, peaceful feeling from the minute you step in the doorway. The sound of the water feature at the entrance is very soothing while taking in the many one of a kind items in the shop. Terri is a beautiful, caring and talented artist as is her husband, Steve, who also provides all of the photographs which have been captured on film for a once in a lifetime souvenier. Spending time here is good for your soul or soul searching, whichever your need may be at the time. Just ask Steve about the photographs and he always has a whimsical story about the subject. My suggestion is to shop retail at home and support the local artist in the GSM Arts and Crafts Community. You will not regret and you will be making an incredible investment!

I love the black wooden bears. I purchase one or two everytime I visit the smokies. ( Which is usually twice a year) Wish they would make some new ones.

I have to say this has been a wonderful experience with Terri and Steve their hospitallity is second to none..This will be our third year as a consigner with them and they have been great to deal with their customers are great to..We have shipped our beautiful saws all over for them and people are just freat to deal with..Hope to be here a long time....Enjoy then they are genuine people...Love you dearly guys....stay close to it....

Hearing Steve tell of his experiences while photographing a Cades Cove black bear & cubs was a highlight of the walk through the arts/crafts stores. Hoping to some day take advantage of his photography classes too on our next visit to the park area. Hopefully will be able to take a photography hike to the mystery waterfall described in his web site

The Mountain Visons Gallery is wonderful. Steve Shoemaker has caught the most beautiful pictures of nature through his camera lens. Just as others have shared he will tell you exactly how he took each picture. His stories are wonderful. We were married in Gatlinburg and purchased a beautiful picture to remember it by; Steve made it special with his stories. Definately a must see store.

My entire family love to visit Mountain Visions Gallery. It is conveniently located in the Craft Community outside Gatlinburg. It's wonderful to escape into the world of this outstanding photographer, H. Steve Shoemaker. His insight into God's creation as seen through the lens of his camera is truly beautiful and awe-inspiring. His wife, Terri has decorated the shop so that it's very much like a den in your own home. My kids love it because they get to hear Steve tell stories, and buy "candy rocks!" Mountain Visions is a must-see when in Gatlinburg. It helps us have a better understanding of the unique natural beauty of the Smokies as expressed through Steve's photography.
