I love driving down to Sirs Fabrics. You can find all kinds of great fabrics for SO much less than anywhere else. It is not the Best for apparel but if you are shopping for home decorating fabrics then sirs is your place. Its worth the drive plus Fayetteville is a cute little town, you can go to the antique stores or grab a bite to eat and make a day of it.
My absolute favorite fabric store! It's a little bit of a drive (from Nashville), but it's completely worth it. If you're looking for fabric for quilting, dresses, curtains, whatever - this is the place! Prices start at 49 cents a yard (I got some "practice" fabric and smaller pieces of nicer stuff), and even the "pricey" finds sit below the $5-10/yd range. I'd highly recommend checking it out!
This is without a doubt the best place to find fabric. You can buy bolts of drapery material for $1.00 a yard, upholstery materials just like in expensive stores and you can find any notions you need in any color. Everything is the same quality that's in more pricey stores except you have so much variey at Sir's to select from and the cost on almost everything is far below what you'd pay elsewhere. You really should go!
