1 reviews for Tennessee Wildlife Observation Area Monsanto Ponds
Closed, inaccessible, abandoned by Monsanto/Solutia, overgrown with acres and acres of Kudzu vines.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/04
The appearance, age, of the Kudzu indicates that this has been the case for at least several years. The miles of chain link fences and gates enclosing the facility are rusting and falling apart, which again indicates the time span of no maintenance or care. You'd think a multi-billion dollar international company would be embarrassed enough to fix it all. Or at least enterprising enough to bottle and sell genetically modified Kudzu jelly.
