Stella Nova Spa Salon, Summerville

I think it's crazy that you pay a fortune for a coloring service and have to pay extra to have it blow-dryed. How on Earth does the customer know what the color looks like? This is a great example of a salon that over-charges and forgets the concept of customer service. If every business chose this concept, the world would be a scary place. I.E. - I'd like a cup of soup. Oh it's extra to heat up. Or - I'd like to buy that dress. Oh you have to buy it before you can try it on. Ridiculous!

I went in for a trim and shampoo. The girl was sweet, but when she was done, she said I took a little more off than you wanted because I thought it would look better. Hmmmm I look terrible with this severe "wedge" thing. Not what I wanted. And I think $48.00 (plus I tipped well) is pretty steep for a trim.

I just had a massage at Stella Nova and it was the best I've ever had! I've had dozens of massages but this was fabulous! Christine was my therapist and she was so friendly and made me feel completely at ease. Her hands were amazing and the detailed work she did was incredible! The rest of the staff were great and very friendly! I would definitely recommend Stella Nova to everyone!

I love going here! It makes me feel special and I get treated as if I am the MOST important person of the day! I love everyone I have met who works there. They truly work as a team to make the experience the one you would deserve for the money. Margie is very kind and professional. Her experience with color and technique is so worth the trip to Summerville. I tell every one where I get my hair done...my friends cant believe the difference my new style adds to my appearance (neither can I!!) How can you put a price on confidence? Thank you Margie and Team! I cannot imagine settling for the type of service I had received in the past ever again. This makes my fourth visit...all of which delightful!

I've had my hair cut at Stella Nova by Luanne Smith for about two years now. Every visit is consistently good. I rarely wait for more than a few minutes, and Luanne is always a pleasure to talk to. I've never had my hair cut by anyone else at Stella Nova, but I cannot say enough positive things about Luanne. I'm a student in Virginia, and I actually plan my haircuts around when I will be visiting my parents at home in Summerville, just so I can have my hair cut by Luanne. My experience with her is by far the best experience I have ever had with a hair stylist.

The negatives must be the competition because Stalle Nova is amazing. No, I take that back, better than amazing. Go, enjoy, relax and you'll rave too. Becca

I went to Stella Nova Salon in Summerville and had a fantastic experience! I had a brow wax followed by a haircut and both were stellar. As far as feeling rushed like some of the other reviewers, I disagree. My stylist sat down with me in the reception area BEFORE she even started washing my hair to discuss what I wanted to do. I was very impressed by that. As a first time client, I wanted to make sure that the stylist COMPLETELY understood what I was looking for. The price is average for a quality cut and style. If you're looking for a cheap cut, go the mall. If you're looking for a quality cut from a person you trust, go to Stella Nova. I was so happy with the service I recieved that I booked my follow up appointment that day!

I went in last week for a mani/pedi and massage. Rhonda and Kate were the best. Rhonda is a nail perfectionist, and Kate gave me a massage better than I have ever had. And I get them monthly! Very professional. Spa is undergoing renovations, can't wait to go back.

Stella Nova Summerville is located just off of the town square in historic downtown Summerville in a quaint little house. The atmosphere is roomy and comfortable, elegant and charming. I went in for highlights and a haircut for an upcoming wedding. The stylist used three different hair colors in my highlights achieving stunning results. Knowing that I would have an updo, she even colored the underside and she added striking bold highlights to my part. The cut was perfect; exactly what I wanted. At the wedding, I got more compliments on my hair than my dress. It was gorgeous! I couldn't have been happier. I thought the prices were reasonable considering the salon's reputation. I think I paid about $110 + tip. I am very suspicious of any salon that does highlights for under $100. If you want to get in, you should probably book the appointment two weeks in advance.

Felt rushed. Had my hair, nails and a pedicure. Definatley not relaxing, not very memorable. I have since started going to an absolutley wondeful spa 0n trolley rd (serenity). OMG they are great. Greet you at the door, offer a drink, give a gift to first time clients and even call you the next day to make sure you were happy.....heaven
