Table Rock State Park

We were here in 1994 when it was The Shell House B&B. We stayed for our honeymoon night, it was great then and even better now! The new owner Karen is exceptional and the changes underway are GREAT! This is just a wonderful B & B, with wonderful views and away enough to feel like you have escaped the hectic world. With this being so close, we actually plan to return more often. My remark to the past bad review........THERE IS A NEW OWNER and she REALLY is making the difference and giving the service that we always expect when we do go away. She is updating and taking this already gorgeous place to a even better level of service, escape and events! Way to go! We LOVED and and will return as soon as possible! Thanks for a great stay!

Great views and very clean park! This is probably one of the best state parks that I have experienced in the southwest/southeast regions. Word of caution... We took the trail to table rock then Ridgeview and then Pinacle. We camped out just right outside of the park of the Foothills Trail. Coming down OFF Pinacle the trail was not well marked. When we got to Mill Creek access the trail did not point us to CROSS over the creek to continue the Pinacle Trail. (We found out later that someone had taken the signs from there) We followed a very well marked path for about 1 mile and then lost it. We ended up by the grace of God and the good sense he gave us on the Palmetto Trail which led us back to the park. They have been in process of re-routing this trail. An excellent, very informative, and friendly ranger took us back to the Nature Center and explained to us what happened.

This is one of the best state parks we've visited and we've been to many across the US. We camp at Table Rock 3 to 4 times a year.

Great Family fun. We camped in a tent. Did some hiking. Beautiful campsites. Roomy and Private. We are planning to return this summmer and stay in one of the cabins for a week.
