great place to brings the kids.

Not sure why there's a couple bad reviews. Our kids and family had such a good time at Lion's beach. It was very clean for a campground and the manager was very helpful. We're also a member of the ymca and are glad they offer a discount for members. We'll be back for sure!

NEVER TO GO BACK

lions beach used to be a great place to go to with our family, but since their landlord has made up his own rules for the people he likes and dislikes it's a disgrace and i would not recommend anyone to go to this beach, the bathrooms are nasty, the beach is not kept up, car's are parking on the beach, and some of the campers their have all kinds of stuff piled around them making the place look even worse.

HORRIBLE, Don't waste your time

The beach was covered in trash, trash cans were overflowing, the beach was covered in ants !!! You could not step anywhere without getting bitten by ants. I would rather spend the extra gas and go to the ocean at least Charleston County keeps their beaches clean.

Great Time

My family would go to Lion's Beach when I was a child and truely enjoyed myself. We still have a great time but the prices are rather high on admission and renting tubes. Love the snack bar, and games.

I loved taking my kids there.

I loved taking my kids there when they were younger. I am now getting ready to take my grandkids there for the first time. We always enjoyed going there. I like the fact that there was a snack bar there and games the kids could play if it started to rain while we were there.
