Housed in the former Hampton Jailhouse building that is over 100-years-old, this museum was named after Civil War general and later Governor, Wade Hampton, and features an extensive Civil War memorabilia collection, as well as a military room, a genealogical research room, a country store, and artifacts that depict the county's history.
