This is the theater that makes Columbia liveable. A theater that takes requests, shows the movies you cannot see anywhere else, shows classics both domestic and foreign on the big screen, that hosts a friendly and diverse audience and has built a loyal fanbase -- with volunteer staff, even. This theater is one of those amenities that makes Columbia bearable. A cultural oasis! Now, if only Columbia could get Greenville's Handlebar to open a branch here, then this city could compete for the soul of the offbeat crowd!
