GET THE MOST FOR YOUR MONEY AT MB JEWELRY AND BEADS

this place is great, five rooms one of which is designer jewelry by mary boscia (the owner of this locally owned and operated shop), her designer jewelry is by far some of the best i've ever seen. The other four rooms have glass beads, stones, findings and a bead room set up for classes or beading your braclet or neckless right then and there. If you have your husband with you theres a area to sit and magazines to read while you shop. Shes thought of everything.
My husband and I travel to aiken several times a year it was so nice to find MB Jewelry and Beads in there new location at 145 Laurnens St in downtown aiken. They have what ever you need to bead in several rooms. The friendly and smiling faces welcome you and are ready to help at the drop of a hat or if you just feel like browsing, they even have a area for my husband to sit and wait, with several sporting or fishing magazines for the men. Thanks Mary for my best bead shopping trip this year.
Great little place with lots of beads. Be sure to check out all the rooms. First time I was in I didn't and I only saw a few of the great beads offered. Looking in the window is deceiving there are rooms of beads.
More then I expected to find in a small town. Prices were very reasonable and the beads were all high quality. What a great joy to find a well stocked bead store in Aiken since I spent quite a bit of time there with the horses. This is one of the best little bead shops I've been in. I was able to find everything I needed.
Friendly atmosphere, great selection! Knowledgeable owner. Designs were a great inspiration. Classes offered often and with enough times to suit anybody's schedule. Readily gave me a class listing and schedule unlike other store which after 3 months STILL hasn't let me know when or even IF they are having classes. Stones are a specialty and the quality and price is unmatched in the area. Worth a trip downtown!
There is nothing special about the bead selection in this shop. Poor selection of classes and instructors. Business practices leaves much to be desired. One gets the feeling they will tell you anything to make a sale. It seems the owner is quite knowledgeable of the inventory, but comes across as desperate one day, and indifferent the next.
The shop is divided into 5 rooms where you can find just about anything you need. I love working with stones and have found a shop that carries a wide variety of gemstones. There is a room that is just glass & crystal beads, a room for gemstones, a room for findings & tools that has an area where you can bead your own, and a room that is beautiful jewelry. The main room has jewelry and even more gemstones, pearls and crystals. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great place to shop and I will be back. I do wish that they sold more beads individually though. I don't always need a full strand of beads, but the prices were fair and the quality of beads excellent.
Large eclectic selection of beads & beading supplies. They offer handcrafted jewelry by local artists. They also offer great classes
for all skill levels, fun parties, repair services, updating of older jewelry and design assistance and custom work.
