Bike path a plus
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
This park is a little gem in Pawtucket. Sprawling green space, with plenty of trees, places for sports, ice cream in the summer and a bike path following the river. The bike path isn't incredibly long, but it is well laid out and it is easy enough to continue your ride into rural Seekonk and Rehoboth. I live nearby, and this place is a really important place to escape city sprawl and roads where everything revolves around the car.

SO much to do and it's FREE!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/07
Can't beat a days worth of activities that doesn't cost a thing!! this park is great.. and my kids look forward to going everytime.. you pay pennies for the carosuel.. which is rare..and it has a great playground for the bigger kids and the little ones.. animals to look at .. a mini play pit with sand.. plenty of places to walk around.. big pond with ducks.. you can't ask for more when you are looking for somethign that is so inexpensive and can entertain the kids for the day. Pack a lunch and you are set! Why anyone wouldn't give this all stars is beyond me!

Very Pleasant Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/06
Great place for fun and relaxation. A lake with surrounding path. Ducks to feed. A working carousel. Nicely spaced picnic areas. A beautiful new playground enclosed with fences. A small farm to enjoy for free. A greenhouse where you may purchase plants and other items. Vendor shops to get a good variety of eats and treats at reasonable prices. I especially like the many special free events throughout the summer. Morning entertainers perform a variety of shows for young children. Concerts in the evening and much more going on. My family and I tremendously enjoy this park.

A Great Place to bring the Family
By Jessa, 10/19/05
My husband an I live Close enough and we Enjoy the atmosphere so much that we actually go there almost every weekend. We have 2 girls 4 & 3 and a boy who is 1 and there is something for all of them to enjoy. Now adays with City living and our lack of a yard for them to play in, its just an awesome place to pack a lunch and spend the day.
