Chacko's Family Bowling Center, Wilkes-Barre

We went there for the first time since we had a refer local deal for pizza and wings. The food was FANTASTIC, and so was the service. We will return again to bowl and dine there. A very pleasant surprise!!

Rude school age staff. They "re-did" their wait list for lanes and somehow our reservation made its way off of the list. It just so happens that all the teenagers behind us made their way to the front of the list somehow. Same age as the girls behind the register. All giggly and typical. The food was good but, that was about it. I would rather go to the older smaller bowling lanes one town over. At least I know the employees are going to be fair. If you are a kid Chackos is ok. If you dont mind that usual teenage scene. Me I am an adult, I dont go for that "yey I am out!! I can smoke and make out and do whatever I want!! Mommy and Daddy arent here!!" The management knows that this is where their money is so they dont cater to the "grown-up crowd". Get a mature staff and attract a mature crowd and Chackos will be #1. Until then, avoid, unless you really like teenagers. Oh yeah and it is over priced.

The cleanest bowling alley Ive ever stepped foot in, (we've been to a few losers). A place I would never be afraid to take my children to. Very safe and family oriented atmosphere. Machines worked beautifully, FOOD is FANTASTIC...but nothing could beat the service! Employees were so nice and helpful. I had a problem and they were right there to help me. We can't wait to get back to CHACKO'S!

I dislike the clientelle as well as the staff. There appears to be some unfairness surrounding some of the bowlings leagues, and questionable motives.

Had a great time! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and VERY helpful. The facility was clean and new and they had everything right there - a clean and well stocked snack bar (the pizza was fresh and very good & affordable) - a pro shop on site - a fun arcade - and the lounge was beautiful & had live music with no cover charge. I would definately recommend this bowling center to anyone looking to go and we will definitely be back. Definitely worth going and was a great value for the money. :)
