I go to Reading regularly to visit family and I almost always go to the outlet center. They have great deals on shoes (Naturalizer, Clarks, Easy Spirit etc)and clothes for adults and kids (Osh Gosh, Carters etc). If you are going to go, check for online coupons for some of the stores such as Naturalizer, Osh Gosh and Carters, you can often get 30% coupons.
It gets a little crazy on weekends around back to school, but if you go mid-week or closer to opening or closing times it is pretty quiet.
The food court isn't great so you might want to plan on eating lunch somewhere else.
The Vanity Fair outlet in Reading, PA is awesome! They have all the name brands for much less than department stores. My favorite places were the purse stores, especially Dooney & Bourke & Coach. They have the cutest purse styles for so much less than department stores.
I can't wait to go back! :)
