New Hope Winery, Inc., New Hope

Being new in Bucks County, I finally stopped to visit the New Hope Winery, located in a big red barn I pass along Route 202. Once inside the 17th century barn with its gorgeous wood floors and huge wine racks, I was greeted by very pleasant staff, who encouraged me to try some of their 21 kinds of wine. Everything I tried was very good - -and it was free! They have whites and reds and they also specialize in local fruit wines. I am not really a fruit wine drinker, but theirs were really delicious. My favorites were the Raspberry, Fresh Peach, and Blackberry. The Blackberry was the most expensive wine, coming in at $18.99 a bottle, but it is well worth it. I bought 2 for myself, and 3 more to give out as gifts. Their other wine starts at about $9 a bottle, and they have all kinds of gourmet food products too taht you can sample. I would definitely go back and buy wine from them again. Plus, they have fun events and things to do on the weekends.
