Royal Oaks Golf Club

Played this course several times this year and WOW! I have never played on greens this fast and true at a public course in my life. From what I understand the course was bought recently and has the new owner made some great changes. The new superintendent is doing fantastic job. They have the best facilities around!!

golf course was in great condition! greens were awesome! the staff made me feel like i was important to them! kudos to the ranger(larry) i think he was extremely helpful and friendly. do yourself a favor and play this club.

I don't know about you but when I go to a golf course to spend my hard earned money I like to be treated with respect. The management at this course makes you feel like they are doing you a favor to let you play their course. Management also has a very hard time scheduling tee-times and tournament. If you think you have a scheduled tee-time think again.

Thinking I was going to putt on pristene greens, I paid 50 bucks to play Royal Oaks one Saturday morning. Instead our foursome got slow, bumpy greens that resembled tee boxes. The cups were cut so improperly it seemed as if they weren't even cut at all. The sand traps were concrete in tecture, almost unplayable. Fringes weren't cut, I think you get the point. It was abysmal and I was very dissapointed. Someone needs to know about this travesty. I doubt I will be the only one not returning.

No where will you be able to play such a great layout for such a small fee. Golfers in Lebanon County are spoilied for sure. I've played the course 3 times and the condition of the golf course has changed each and every time. Varying from smooth, fast greens to greens that looked like tee boxes. You really never know what you're going to get. The staff wasn't very welcoming and I did not feel like a valued customer. The layout and the price will keep people coming back, no matter what shape it is in.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PUBLIC COURSE. THE LAYOUT IS CHALLENGING BUT WITH ROOM TO RECOVER FROM ERRANT SHOTS. ON A NUMBER OF HOLES POSITIONING IS CRITICAL. THE GREENS ARE VERY GOOD WITH A FEW PROBLEM GREENS. MUCH WORK HAS BEEN DONE SINCE LAST FALL TO CORRECT PROBLEM AREAS. THE FAIRWAYS ARE LUSH. TOUGH TO FIND A BETTER AND MORE CHALLENGING PUBLIC COURSE.
