Description
Fort Hunter Mansion and Park's history is simply intriguing! Built in 1814 during the French and Indian war, this mansion served as a alarm center and a supply base back in the year 1725. The Fort Hunter park offers a stunning view of the Susquehanna river and the Blue mountains. Featuring Victorian architecture, the mansion is quite an attraction for the tourists. Some of the attractions within the park include a museum shop, a tavern house, a conservancy, a covered bridge and Heckton church that can be rented for weddings.
