Gifty Baskets and Flowers, Hanover

I shopped them online and found the perfect gift basket for my friend in GA. Was even willing to pay their outrageous up-charges to have them ship it to her. Very shortly after placing the order online I got an email stating that item was no longer available - but SURPRISE they had a different one for a higher price! Can you say "bait & switch"? Then, upon checking my credit card I discovered they had gotten an authorization for the full amount. When I first questioned them about that they said they don't charge until shipped; when I pushed they said "Ooooops, someone messed up." Wouldn't trust them for anything anymore, I don't care how perfect the gift was.

I was aware that there were shipping and packing charges for the item. However when the facility refused to accept the gift basket, the item was returned to gifty baskets. We were not contacted until the item was shipped back. Gifty basket only credited us for the gift basket and not for the packing nor shipping charge. They did offer to resend it with additional shipping. This cost was more than what the gift actually was worth. We are unsatisfied and will never use this company again.
