CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN...
By ,
"What a complete disappointment!!! $9 a person to go into a place that has garbage all over the place with absolutely nothing organized. There is no attraction. Grab a pair of scissors, some glue, some construction paper and sit at the table with your kids - a better environment and a better time. This place offered nothing redeeming. Don't waste your money or time." You woulnt' say this if you understand what kids love to do... This is what you call "arts and crafts". What attraction are you looking for? Better not go here if you want attraction. Go to disneyland... Kids come and go here. How organized can you expect this place can be. I will take my child to this place whenever we will be in town again. My kids defenitely loved this place. I recomment this place. You get you money worth...

My son loves Crayola
By ,
I would take my son here any day over spending $9 or more on a movie+junk food. No, the neighborhood is not the greatest, but my son loves the Crayola Factory. we live close by and go for rewards of various sorts (good behavior, potty training). It is a local treasure for our town and quite the event when he knows we are going. $9 is not that much, considering the Crayola factory, Canal Museum, and railroad exhibit are all included.Kids can create and play as much and as long as they like, and receive take home treats such as just-made markers & crayons, create artwork to show, dance. Plus it is inside and out of the elements. Overall excellent!

Crayola is ok, but UPSTAIRS IS WOW!
By ,
My two boys (4 1/2 and 7) were so-so about the crayola part of the museum, but the little-known pearl is the upstair Canal Museum. This is included in the price, but is also geared towards kids. My 7 year-old spend 90 minutes running boats through the locks! It was fantastic! Just FYI, the neighborhood is awful, and the only food is a McDonalds that opens onto a street where homeless frequent (so it looked).

can't wait to go back again
We had the best time at the crayola factory. It was great fun creating so many projects. We especially liked the wax painting and watercolor room. Everyone came home with product samples and a big bag of art work. Some of the watercolor paintings will be entered into our county fair. We can't wait to visit again.

Great for Kids!
By ,
Kids loved it! The circle is a good place for the adults to hang out! The bars and restraunts have great food with large value priced menus.

hard to get to
By ,
It takes about 2.5 hours to go through the crayola factory exhibits and kids activities. Good things are the clay and crayons and you get free stuff. Bad things are it is too pricey like 9 bucks a person and for a family of 4 who lives nearby you are talking 40 bucks.

Crayola Factory
By ,
Lots of fun, hands-on activities for adults to do with kids. We particularly liked working with the melted crayons. Ticket price also includes the "Canal Museum" in the same building, which was more interesting than we expected. And after you are done your visit (approx. 2-3 hours), you can visit a Pez dispenser museum across the street and have ice cream at the Purple Cow, which is also just across the street. We've decided to make a visit here an annual tradition.
