Essentials Salon and Spa, Doylestown

My mani/pedi person was a real sweetheart, but unfort the results were pretty terrible. I left and looked at my nails on the way home and couldn't believe how much polish was on my cuticles and fingertips. She also filed my nails into a shape that I haven't seen since the sixties--totally oval. I know I should have noticed this during the mani/pedi, but to be honest I was just chilling and had confidence that she knew what she was doing. Still looking for a mani/pedi place in the D'town area that has good technique AND is sanitary. Search goes on...

Both the spa and salon are very clean, and the atmosphere completely changes from one to the next. The staff that I came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. I had a pedicure with Nicole, and it was a wonderful experience. I also love getting my hair done for their expertise knowledge. They all seem always striving to learn and further their knowledge of new techniques and services. Great place!

For the services I received I felt they were over priced- the young girl cutting my hair was average- the color was average- the atmosphere loud and no privacy and the prices on the high end. I did not think it was very professional to see the employees smoking outside in front of the salon

I had an amazing experience from start to finish here. The girls at the front desk were patient and helpful when I was making my appt (Julianna and Dawn both helped me!) and they were so welcoming when I got there. The shampoo girls were friendly (and the head massage felt so nice. Scott cut and colored my hair and I was nervous at first (I have never had a man do my hair before) but Scott was so friendly he made me feel at ease and my hair looks great. I'm looking forward to trying out their spa services soon.

What a place, great staff, great location in the middle of my home town, who needs new york for great looks and service. They also support local events and have a home town feel. The Best !!!

The best pedicure here. Also, colorist Kelly is great! There are a variety of services and I've not tried them all but have been happy with those I have tried. Another plus is Sunday and Monday hours. Book early, especially if you want a day of services.

I enjoyed the great atmosphere and the friendly staff. The Women, Jennifer P., who cuts my hair takes time to do a great job and make me feel important. Brandon

Prices are too high, it is not in NYC. Staff is great. Aveda products are the best.
