This Place is Beautiful, I grew up in the Area and every time My children go back we always visit and wait for a Train to go by. The museum tells the history during WWII.

Horseshoe Curve

We had visited Horseshoe Curve in the 1960's and again in July 1970, the transformation that had taken place was unbelievable! It is now on the National History Landmark. There is a Welcome Center with a gift shop, an incline car to take you to the top level where PRR Locomotive is on display. The upper level is an excellent place for viewing the many Norfolk Southern trains that travel around the curve. If you are into trains this is the place to visit.

If you enjoy railroads. this is a great place to see railroads pass by. They have picnic tables at the curve. Was there a hour and 4 trains went by. Nice display about the curve. Plus a small incline cars take you up and down. unless yoy want to take the stairs.
