Quality matters, Value is relative
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/08
How do you consider value when considering a well-conditioned, world-class designed golf course? Real quality costs you a premium, so value is what you want it to be. The quality at Lehigh country Club is very high. It is a really fun and interesting golf course to play. It is even worth a little groveling to play. I am fortunate that I play it often with a friend. The course is the best for 50 miles. You have to go all the way to Philadelphia area before you can get a course that is clearly better. LCC is built on interesting land that is easy to walk, it is hard to lose a ball, challenging and enjoyable without being punishing. I also got to play it in a state tournament last year and no one tore it up yet it was fun to play. They also have the best food in town. It's a little stuffy to be honest and has its share of "little big men banty rooster types" as do most country clubs, but never turn down an invitation.
