Rogue Klamath River Adventures

We just did a two day raft trip, and had a lot of fun. Our guide, Charlie, was fun and knowledgeable. The food that he brought on the first day was first rate - roasted chicken, tapenade, olives, cheese, grapes, chips and salsa was way better than we expected to get. We stayed the night at Morrison Lodge and stayed in the Tuck Away 2 duplex, and that was very nice! We expected rustic, but it was better then most hotels! Excellent dinner. Breakfast and lunch from the Morrison was so-so. this was a fun, and safe family raft trip. Our only regret was that we did not do the 3 day trip! Next time!

I came all the way from Florida to go on the Upper Klamath with Rogue Klamath River Adventures. My friend went with them twice last year and recommended them to me. They went out of there way to make sure my family was safe and had a good time. Not to mention the food was the best I have ever had on a river trip. It was better than some of the food places in Medford.

I first went with these guys a few years ago; the guide was incompetent. (They later told me it was his first trip and they subsequently fired him.) They promised me their best guide (some guy who seems to be perpetually 70 years old, the legal limit) for a birthday trip for my son. Two days before the trip, they called me up and said the guide didn't want to take us on a half-day trip because he had full-day clients he preferred. I rebooked with someone else (Noah's; they're supposed to be great) and called Rogue Klamath to tell them they had lost a customer. They hung up on me.
