Devil's Lake State Park, Lincoln City

I used to bring the kids here when they were younger and it was nice, so made reservations again. The grounds are NOT the same. The site was dirty, littered with bits of paper and the firepit was full, we had to clean it to use it. The site we had had a lot of foliage and was pretty private, but if you're at all sensitive to plants, bring plenty of allergy meds! There were some other campers who were rude and loud until early in the morning and the park did NOTHING to quiet them. Compared to other State parks I frequent, there wasn't the drive throughs by Park Rangers and quiet hours were NOT enforced. I heard a generator running late into the night as well! And the raccoons!! They tore into the garbage and also ruined my tablecloth! The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked and the showers were clean and welcomed. Rain was NOT predicted, but it RAINED from the time we set the tents up till the sun came up, and again the next day when the sun went down till the time we left a day early. I had no problems getting a credit to my account, but due to processing, am still waiting for it to post. Next trip to Lincoln City we will stay in a motel!

This place was a muddy mess. We parked in a lake, and set the tent up in mud. It was like camping on a soccer field. Mosquitos were all over, so bring your OFF spray. The bathrooms were very clean. A few spots have no privacy at all. And some people crammed up to 5 tents into one campsite.
