We found our church home the moment we walked in!!

We moved to the area almost a year ago, and had church hunted every Sunday, desperatly finding a church home that would serve us as a couple but our children as well. We are a younger couple (30) with four children ages 10, 7, 6, and 4. We were desperate to be fed and the moment we walked through the doors of this church we just new it was for us. I scope out the leaders, the youth, and everything. Our children went to thier classrooms, were accepted and loved they it. Our two boys didn't even want to leave. We found that this church met the needs of everyone, from the poor to the wealthy. The worship team (music) sang traditional worship as well as newer songs heard on Christain radio. I was so overwhelmed at the diversity yet it was like a huge family. Our first time going there were two baptisms. It was awesome. The youth are on fire for Christ and the women of the church welcomed me but were not pushy either. The men welcomed We didn't feel bonbarded by anyone, just welcomed. It was wonderful to see such a variety of people praising the Lord. Old, young, rich, poor, and different races of people. It was awesome for our children to see that people of different backgrounds and cultures can all raise thier hands in worship. We cried almost half the time as the pastor read straight from the bible and then applied it to everyday life. They shared the most powerful testamonies and we were so extatic that we went to the pastor afterwords and thanked him. I may only be 30, But I grew up knowing what God's desires are for his children. Redwood Christain fed us and we are so grateful to have walked into thier front doors. We felt welcomed, not overwhelmed. No one was concerned with what they were wearing or materialistic things. This church is just the right size were there is accountability and you see the same faces each week but yet big enough that there is always numerous new things happening. You don't get lost in the crowd or left out and they have a place for everyone. The focus here was obviously on God and we are stoked to find our church home........Yeah!
