My son & I had many wonderful times at the museum & planetarium. It's affordable & sometimes there are special shows - once they had the animatronic dinosaurs - WOW ! - one of the best memories of my son's childhood. I also liked the gift shop - Very affordable & educational fun !
Imagine my surprise when I attended a Black Holes Planetarium show expecting to pay my full $4 and was told the show was free. Great seats and visuals, and a UofO presenter charmed and educated us all.
Afterwards the hands-on museum was full of kids, moms and dads having fun. Paid more than the $4 for the delightful experience. Will definitely return!
Fun place to take the family. Lots of things to keep the children occupied. Some of the exhibits require adult explanation, but that allows some fun interactive moments. Kids especially like the kenetic sculptures called Gravitram and the Recyclotron, rocket launcher, wing zingers, shadow wall, and others.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
