On Broadway Thespians was founded by the late Tosca Means back in 1979. Her desire was to bring quality theater to our bay area and to provide children & youth a place where they could do something creative and constructive in a safe setting. Over the years hundreds of kids & youth have showcased their talent at OBT as well as many adults & seniors. It became known as a family theater where one could find a varity of plays that showcased people of all ages and plays for all ages. The novices who would come to OBT for their very first play would blossom over time and that was what the appeal of OBT, that everyone deserves a chance and we have tried to keep that tradition ongoing. Sept 9th was our first comeback show in 2 1/2 years and Night at the wax museum appealed to all ages and the majority of our actors were brand new. This experience has left a big impression on those actors and I have to tell you, many of them got bit by "The Acting Bug." Yah to On Broadway Thespians for trying to keep the arts alive and teaching the love of theater to our youth.
