Elephant Rock Nature Park, Tahlequah

Elephant rock nature park was a beautiful place to stay and float with. the people there were sweet and very friendly. i really enjoyed my stay and cant wait to go back.

This place looks more like a trailer park and a dump than a nature park. Very disappointed with our stay. The yerts were filthy and our bus broke down. The owner seems to know nothing about what he is doing. Don't bother wasting your money.

This place has something for everyone! Whether you like roughing it or camping in a bit of style, this place is it. We went on a float trip and then tent camped that night. Our campsite was probably the best site we've ever had. Plenty of space between the sites which I love. The people who run the place are very nice and helpful. I couldn't have asked for better customer service. And of course I can't leave out the hiking. We woke in the morning and had a trail right next to our site begging for us to hike it (and of course we did). Wonderful Scenery!!

I have been going to Elephant Rock annually for three years - this place rocks! Each year we are happily greeted by the owners and well taken care of. The wildlife rehab that they do for the deer is great and we look forward to visiting just to see the new babies. They have plenty of room for camping but also have an alternative for those that do not enjoy "roughing it" with yurts that have a/c and plumbing. The property has access directly to the river but a warning to those who are out of shape...returning to the mainland involves a bit of a hike upward. It is fun and comfortable environment - try it out for yourself - I recommend Elephant Rock.
