Great on parent's pocketbooks
I have 4 boys ages 3, 7, 8, and 10, we all just went for the first time, they had a blast. Well my oldest was a little upset that he couldn't ride the bumper cars because he was too tall, but other than that they loved it, we had to leave early and didn't use all of our tickets so we will definately be going back very soon. I loved how I could take them some place to have fun and it didn't cost my whole check, since a lot of the rides at the amusement parks elsewhere they wouldn't be able to ride or would be too scared. We purchased 100 tickets for just $25! We couldn't get 25 tickets for that price any more at a carnival.
It was also nice you could come and go in the area as you pleased, but it would be better to have longer hours, it was only opened from 7 PM, yes that's right PM, to 10 PM. We got there just before and there was a bit of a line for the ticket booth, which they probably could use one more of, and after we got our tickets and they went on a ride or two there was a HUGE line, so I guess we got there just in time. Next time I guess we could make a day at the park next door then head on over when they opened to finish out the day.
The concession stand was very reasonably priced also, only $.75 for a small drink, $1 for a huge bag of cotton candy that they really didn't need, ha ha. I even met a nice older man who said his father helped to build the place 60 years ago, he was there with all of his family celebrating his birthday, as well as another birthday boy there celebrating his first birthday. Just to saying it was a great place for the whole family, very laid back and friendly.
