Americana Amusement Park, Middletown

Dont waste your time coming here unless you want to buy a camper, the guy that bought this place turned it into a camper sales place. It's sad because you can still see the rides but its a ghost town now.

The last time I went to the park was in 1985. It was on a school trip and I was with my crush at the time. I remember it was a neat place and I had fun on most of the rides. I remember they had a go cart track, a wooden roller coaster, bumper cars, a ride called the electric rainbow, it was a huge wheel that spun, then tilted up on one side. A chair lift that went out over the lake. Boats, a waterslide. It was a lot of fun. I liked it better then than Kings Island, it was a lot less crowded and therefore, shorter lines. Oh yeah, the elephant ears !
