Brazenhead Irish Pub, Dublin

Dinner at Brazenhead in Dublin was palatable, but get your after dinner drinks and entertainment elsewhere. Saturday night is live entertainment night in the lower level. Our experience; the bar staff never took our beverage order in the 1 1/2 hours we were there. The entertainment; a real disappointment. The solo guitarists' only talent was insulting members of the audience. If you visit the historic district in Dublin, walk right past Brazenhead and select one of the many other restaurants/pubs in the area.

After reading reviews decide to stop in on Saturday for lunch and a beer. Beer was good Food was horrible. Husband had a burger and the bread was soaked in grease and laying in a puddle of grease from the fried chip things that were soggy. I had the beef sandwich. Just a hoggie bread with roast beef on it. Zero flavor and condiments. I asked about the fruit salad the waitress told me a variety of fruit. It came and I got 3 little pieces of pineapple. It was like they took them from behind the bar. Not to mention nothing to feed my 16month old and can I just say they don't have a changeing station either! Never did they ask how it was or tell us to have a nice day. I guess if you are after a beer then its fine. Atmosphere is neat too.

The Brazenhead Irish Pub in Dublin has a cozy fireplace in the basement of the building. One word to describe this establishment "atmosphere." If you are an atmosphere type of person, you will love the Brazenhead. Great for a date or with a group of friends! Cozy up in a "snug" and drink the night away with a pub of your favorite beer.
