I remember visiting Roscoe Village as a kid. It was awesome to ride the Monticello (don't remember what number at the time), but it was amazing to see how the canal worked. The village was just exciting. I remember being there when a mock of the Dukes of Hazzard's General Lee pulled in. I recommend this for every family to visit. I haven't been back there since I now live in Texas, but would love to take my family there one day. Just as my dad took us years ago and I thank him for that, especially now since my dad is no longer with us. It has amazing history there.
