Roosevelt Park Zoo

Many of the animals are kept in small enclosures with concrete floors, nothing like their natural environments. The lemur literally hung off the bars and cried at us. Very few of the enclosures seemed to have live trees. It is a fun experience, but I don't feel like the animals were very happy to be there especially compared to other zoos I have seen.

WE LIVED AT MINOT AFB FROM DEC.1978 TO MAY 1984. WE WENT ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND. NOW OUR SON IS GOING TO BE IN ND AND WE CAN'T WAIT TIL AUGUST IT'S OUR 1ST STOP

I loved all the animals and how they were kept up really well...keep up the good work and i hope to get back as soon a possible

the staff made the experience wonderfull. I will recommend this place to everyone. Best time to go is early in spring or late summer when the weather isnt to hot and the animals are most active.

I live in minot and everytime i go to the zoo with my family when they come to town it is a fun event. There is a wide selection of animals and the price of admission is also a good deal. The zoo is clean and the atmosphere is wonderful.

My wife and I went to the zoo in 2003 and we really enjoyed it. For the price of admission, you can't go wrong. A nice selection of animals. I was surprised such a small city had such a nice zoo.
