Wedgewood is a delight and treasure for the casual golfer on any day of the year. The fees are more affordable than most courses in it's range and the play is a multitude of variance. Straight, wide open fairways down to extreme dog-leg turns, blind-spot drives up hills, and well placed hazzards. Friendly staff, open play, and very quite country surroundings. Will be going back as long as my swing stays with me.
A course that's not hard, but just tough enough to make you hit some interesting shots. Been going there for several years, and it just keeps getting better and better. The greens roll true, and the fairways are fair. The guys at the pro shop are ready and willing to help you with any questions you may have. It is just the course for my teenage son to start learning the game of golf and it's traditions. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did!!!
The price was outstanding, the course was well maintained and the atmosphere was friendly. My only concern was the dogs walking around the clubhouse. I was told that they are necessary to keep the deer and other non-players away.
