Hickory Dickory Dock, Hickory

We live in the local area, and have always had a wonderful time at Hickory Dickory Dock, we have not seen any unclean areas, or had any bad experiences. I do think the prizes take way too many tickets for the types of items. But it is very reasonable entertainment and we always have a ball. We have been numerous times!

First of all, I had an encounter with the so called "General Manager," Terry Childers. This man was so rude and disgusting towards me and my whole family. He has no concerns towards the business and quite frankly he seemed very predigest towards us. The whole facility is over priced for what you're getting. There's no way I'd ever step foot back into that building. The management is extremely horrible here and it seems like they care about themselves more then making their customers feel welcome and invited. Over priced games and rides and food especially. You pay the same amount for food where there's 100's of kids running around when you could go to a nice sit down restaurant and pay the same thing. Rude and hateful managers every where you turn around. I went into the Jungle Gym area with my little one and once we got in there I found a used bloody tampon, sitting right in the open area where any little kid could have easily picked it up. I do not recommend you waste your time and money here!

Not impressed with their customer service. Was in there the other day and there was no one watching the inflatable slides. There were multiple children and it about fell over with all the children inside. When I called HDD's number and asked for someone to come over someone did about 10 minutes later and stayed for 5 minutes and left to watch the news about Michael Jackson's death. Then I sent a FYI to the company to let them know that some parents had hit their heads on their bench and the "owner, Eddie" told me that he thought it was a joke and the people in his office that he read it to made some comments that he couldn't repeat. What kind of customer service is this? I am greatly offended and my child will not be back!

The place is dirty. Games are down. Lots of junk stored out on floor. Softplay nasty. Extremely Chaotic place with no direction. Employees not guest friendly. Not a safe place for children.

This is a great place for the kids, as they have a great time whenever we go. Unfortunately cleanliness is not at the top of the owner's list. I have been multiple times and the dirtiness has been bearable. But today, it was disgusting and I had to leave. We were the first ones there, yet there was still food and trash all over the floors. My 4 yr old also brought to me an empty chip bag from the soft play area. I crawled up there myself and found a used bandaid....it certainly would have been easy for any staff member to see if they had attempted to clean it. There was an unwrapped Tootsie Roll on the floor, M&M's, smashed crumbs in the carpet, no toilet paper in the bathroom, etc. This is a huge concern for me as I also have a 2 yr old that likes to put things in his mouth. I let a staff member know that there was food all over the floors and she seemed suprised. There were certainly no cleaning tools brought out to remedy the situation. It's a shame that HDD can't can a cleaning crew together to keep this place clean. My hopes are that cleaning will become top priority and that we can enjoy going there once again!

Not sure how a little town scored such a great place. It is locally owned, but you would think it was part of a big organization. Clean and lots and lots of activities for the whole family. Separate toddler area with ball pit and a special toddler bounce. Also, bumper cars, large soft play, mini golf, laser tag, arcade and very nice restaurant. Definitely a great palce for the kids.

I have twin girls age 6 and a teen age son. This place was great. No one wanted to leave. My son played laser tag and the games. The girls rode bumper cars, climbed, and bounced. When we got tired we had a great meal and then they played some more.

Old reviews were right; this place needed new management and it got it in 2008. Super values for play and food. Bumper cars, mini gold, laser tag, full arcade, bounces, soft play, and food, food and more food. Great pizza and also has salads and a great philly cheese steak.

My son is 4 yrs old..he had a blast..the food was pretty good, better than what i anticipated it to be. The only down fall is the bathrooms were a little dirty and they were a bit unorganized for the party we went to there..over all a fun place for kids!

I liked that it was kid friendly,but it was a big mess there.The bathrooms were discusting,andit was very slow.The food was very good,and the kids had a pretty good time,but it was a little disorginized,but if you want your kids to have fun then bring them there!
