Practicality Hair & Day Spa, Greenville

I can only speak towards the knightdale location . The salon is very nice and friendly oriented. Despite some of the reviews I did read. I was nervous about giving this place a try. I am glad that I did. I was definately nervous about the end trimming especially. However, the hair felt and looked so much better. Everything was explained thoroughly. So my experience was great and I definately would give them another shot as long as there are good results.

The staff was so unprofessional!! They didnt greet me when I walked in I was standing there looking lost, and I wasnt a walk-in. I guess its because most of them were young! My hair was not washed throughly, I feel like I was rushed to get in and get out!.I didnt feel relaxed at all. I didnt get the hairstyle I asked for and they cut too much of my hair off! I WILL NOT BE GOIN BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND I DONT RECCOMEND ANYONE ELSE TO GO THERE EITHER! Feel some type a way about my comment?? SO WHAT ITS THE TRUTH!

I have a response about the Practicality in Knightdale. The head stylist has been doing my hair for quite some time now. And she believes in healthy hair. She always takes time to explain what and why she does what she does to your hair. If she cuts, it is because you ask or your hair is damaged.

I don’t know if this Practicality Hair is associated with Practicality in Knightdale NC but my suggestion is DO NOT GO TO THE PRACTICALITY in Knightdale. The HEAD stylist feels like she does no wrong and she DOES. She does not know the meaning between a trim and cut. She will cut what hair you have off and hates it when you tell her about a mistake she has made. I allowed her to “TRIM” my undamaged ends and came out with my hair “CUT”. Prior to having my ends “TRIMMED” my hair was past my shoulders after the trim my hairs fail below my ear. Remember I did not ask for a cut. I tried to explain to her the difference and she wanted to blame everything but not willing to accept that she messed up. If you are human there will be times when you make a mistake just accept you did wrong. If you go do not allow her to “TRIM” your ends if so you will be greatly disappointed. I don’t know where she received training but she need to be re-trained on trimming ends vs. cutting.

The spa and salon I take my shoes off to the owners who success open this spa. they accommodrate there clients in every way possible. the atmosphere is the best, there is no comparson. in every city there at least one salon and spa that raises bar for everyone this is it.

I've been going to this stylist for a long time and it just seems as though she is too comfortable with her clients and feel that they don't mind her moving clients around or accepting other clients at the same time of a long time clients appointment. I've rarely been able to get out of the salon in a timely manner like within a hour and a half or two hours. I feel as though the stylist should have her appointments more spaced out so that her clients can get out of the salon in a timely manner.

What I liked the most about this spa was the way that the staff made me so comfortable as if they had been knowing me for years. I liked it so much the first time that I surprised my mother with a day at the spa for her birthday. My mother was glowing when she left. Enough said.

I loved Practicality Hair and Day Spa! They give great spa treatments and healthy hair styles. For those of you wanting to get in and become a regular like the rest of us how bout this...try calling and asking when is the next available appointment for whatever style you want. If you can not make it do not sweat about it call back next week by the way us 'Regulars' are not giving up our appointment unless we have an emergency! Some of us are weekly clients or biweekly clients. All clients (regular or nonregular) are treated with the up most respect and are given the best products used on our hair and spa products used on our body why would we become a regular anywhere else?

I like the warm welcome and the way they greeted me at the door, and my service start with a awesome massage fora hour, then i had a pedicure that made my feet feel asif i was walking on clouds. and the pedicure room was so relaxin for a gentle , and the facial that last for 1 hour was wonderful as well. about the facility it was the cleaness that i toured in greenville dayspa WOW

I have had a gift certificate to this place for over 4 months. Every time I call to make and appointment and find out prices, they take my name and number and never call back. I'm sure the service is great once you are in the door, but that has proved to be an impossible feat for me. Also the receptionist can use some phone training, sounds like they just scooped up the first ghetto bird that applied for the position.
