We took a Girl Scout group to Western NC. We had only one morning to visit Cherokee. I planned the trip months in advance and looked at the different options. We decided to visit the Oconaluftee Indian Village. The day before our trip - I found this site. I worried when I read some of the reviews...and thought perhaps I'd made the wrong decision. NOT THE case! We had a wonderful / educational experience! We couldn't believe how much we learned and experienced in the 1 1/2 hours we were there. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Cherokee...regardless of age. We were so impressed ...we want to go back and see more of the area.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.
