The kids loved this place, we stayed for about an hour an took all kinds of different nature paths, even in the winter it is very beautiful, plus the nature bingo was fun too, definately will be returning if im ever in NC again, recommend to anyone
I loved the gorgeous garden, and it was fun for a few hours-- strolling around holding my husbands hand... you cant go for the whole day, so you have to plan more then just that-- special ops museum is nearby!
The botanical garden is a wonderful place to visit year-round. The foliage regardless of the season is always worth seeing. If you feel you just can't foot the five dollar entrance fee, go on the first Saturday of the month when they run specials supported by local businesses. Whatever you do, bring comfy walking shoes and plan to spend the day just moseying around.
