Arnette Park, Fayetteville

Great park to stop @ when needing a quick stop to let the kids burn some energy during a long drive down 95. 2 nice playgrounds for age 2-5 & 5-12. Only thing missing was restrooms. They did have port-a-potties. Another plus is the play equipment is shaded.

New to the Fayetteville area we wanted to look for places to go as a family. We went to this park and I was suprised as to how beautifully kept it was! They have a huge playground for both older and smaller children and baseball, volleyball, tennis courts, not to mention the little trails they have! Another good thing is how the park is surrounded by trees so that the sun is not constantly hitting you as bad. Also their picnic areas are a little secluded so that each visitor has their privacy. Overall this park was great and my family loved the spacious grounds to run and play.

Met the love of my life there! I will always have special memories of this place. The trees, the sunshine and her beautiful face. Every time I pass by there......I remember!

I was so excited about going to this park and it was a little disappointing. The "scenery" was a bunch of ugly trees, dying grass and sand. Instead of calling them trails they should put up a sign that says "Hey just walk through the woods and try not to get lost." They have no playground equipment that is accessable for children under five and their shelter you can rent may max out at 10 people. One good thing is the road that encircles it is exactly one mile which is convenient, but it's way out there, if you don't live close don't waste the gas!

I absolutely love Arnette Park. Itis a beautiful place to get some excersice & walk your dog. I would love to have my wedding there.

nice quiet family atmosphere with plenty of outdoor activities. something for everyone,from frisbee golf to horse shoes and walking trails. be sure to hike along the cape faer river!

I travel quite a bit and I visit many parks and I have to say this one was quite a surprise. I loved the tall trees and the available parking was very good. I also like the fact that the park has one way in and one way out. The ball parks looked like they were very well maintained. If im in the area again, I'm going back for another visit.
