POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
By ,
The staff are unfriendly and rude. They act as if you are impeding on their precious time. They really need a lesson in customer satisfaction. Eyes roll, teeth are sucked and you are looked at with contempt. Even the new employees they hire are soon turned to their dark side of customer service. So glad that 2nd & Charles came to town. Much friendlier and a better quality of books PLUS! They have great vinyl for sale at a better price.

Rude and undependable customer service
By ,
call over the phone to ask for the price of some books. The person left the phone not to return. I kept saying hello, hello; then heard someone yell" hold on" very loudly. I hung up after another unbelievably wait on the line. I then called back and I did get to give another person the ID of the books I needed; this time the person never came back with the information on the books prices. I will go the the school book store and spend my money that these employees are causing MaKay Bookstore to lose. Your loss.

Love the Place
By ,
This place is great! My husband and I love to read so we buy books here and elsewhere. We then bring them back in by the truckload and always get a square deal. Thank goodness for Ed McKay. They have a good selection to suit both of us: sci-fi, crafts, the paranormal, and mysteries. We love the place.

Going down hill
By ,
When we first started going to Ed McKays, I loved it. But over the last year, the staff is less than friendly and helpful. I have stopped going. I would rather pay full price and throw the book away than continue deal with such pitiful customer service.

Edward McKay's saves the Day!!!
By ,
When I first went inside the store, I was immediately greated by frienly workers that were eager to help. As soon as I spoke out the title of my book, someone tapped on the shoulder and handed it to me. They also sell great textbooks. My sister was able to buy all of hers for a total of $60. It's an all-around great store, and if you have some books you want to sell you can get cash of store credit. They also have sections for every genre of writing. There movie collection is also pretty good. It's a well rounded store, and if you ever have a book care in the world, just go there.

Edward McKay's Makes Our Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By ,
My whole family loves Edward McKay's and credits this wonderful bookshop and those fine people who work there for helping us create extensive and varied personal libraries for every single branch of the family. The prices are competitive and the variety is unbeaten anywhere!! We would be lost without Edward McKay's!
