Misconceptions dismissed!
For those of you that like eto just rip a place apart and think that you know what you are talking about, you dont so stop. I've hit pubs in Ireland, England, and all over the European continent and I can say without a doubt, the Carolina Brewery has captured the 'pub feel' in a uniquely american way. You still feel like your in a pub and theres even the regulars to boot ('cheers' like). The food is acceptional for a pub as anyone who has been to a pub on the other side of the pond can atest. Most pubs in Europe have no meal selection and dont brew their own beer. Hats off to the Carolina Brewery for getting it right! Excellent beer and great food and staff.

Go for the beer, go back for the beer and food!

The food was great. I visited there with my family just the other night and was really happy with the choices. They had a nice kids menu, simple bar items and some really great ambitious items as well. I had the braised lamb shanks that were awsome.
