Disappointing
Ham's is usually a decent, comfortable, reasonably priced eatery but my latest experience there will make me re-think ever going back. On a day when there could not have been more than 25 people there it took about 45 minutes to get our food (a burger and a sandwich)which was beyond outrageous given the amount of volume they had at the time. The waitress did apologize but then gave us some ridiculous excuse about having to cook up more fries (fries? it took 40 minutes to do that?). The real reason is that a large party came in after us and they were served first. The manager spoke with us and at first seemed a little defensive about my complaint. Then she offered an adjustment to our bill and came back with $3 off, which I thought wasn't much of an adjustment. I thanked her for at least addressing the issue but we still left unsatisfied. Not sure if I'll be going back.
