The staff is rude, the food is gross. We could have went to KFC and got a better dinner. The table was sticky and clearly not wiped prior to us getting seated. The waiter was rude and incompatient, we actualy heard him talking to a man at the bar about my 20 yr. old son. The chicken we order was raw. It was $20 per plate and we couldn't even eat it. Forget hatties, it will make you sick in more ways than one!
There is no doubt that when it comes to good food, Hatties has beaten the competiton senseless. If I don't get to Hattie's several times a year I feel like I am depriving myself.
Don't hesitate! Don't wait! Get to Hattie's and enjoy an incredibly fun evening with an excellent friendly staff, attentive owners, wonderful food and drinks, and non stop laughs. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
I can see why they beat Bobby Flay in his throw down!
One word - R@TS! If you go to Hatties then watch out for them. They are in the kitchen, behind the bar, and they even wait on tables. The food here is terrible and the staff is rude. My advice - Eat at any one of the many good restaurants in Saratoga and if you really want fried chicken then go to KFC where you won't pay $15 for it.
I was raised on the Texas, Louisiana state line. When I was young I took Cajun, Mexican, & TexMex for granted. Now that I have lived in New England for fifteen years, I rarely get to treat myself to the food that I was raised on. Finding Hatties was such a pleasant little unexpected surprise!!!! The crawfish etouffee was sooooo goooooood!!!! Very authentic for being this far north!!! The Mac & cheese was also very good. In fact everything that I tried was awesome. Since I moved to New England, I have often been disappointed with Cajun, Mexican, & TexMex restaurants. Hatties definitely delivers the goods!! I only wish that Hatties had boiled &/or popcorn crawfish on the menu!!! Any variety of boudin on the menu would also have been a perfect touch; however, Hatties still gets five stars from me for their crawfish etouffee alone!!!!
The staff was very nice. When me and my girlfriend opened the door to leave, it started pouring rain. One of the waitresses offered to walk us out to our car with an umbrella. We declined but it was a very nice gesture that I have never received from any restaurant...EVER!!
